The story
Colin has built a life around refusing to face what he did to a vulnerable woman. His ability to continue does not mean the harm has ended, only that he has learned how to keep it outside the story he tells about himself. Hannah’s haunting destroys that arrangement.
His home, relationships and attempts to seek help become part of an expanding trap. Confession is no guarantee of safety, and guilt is not a currency with which he can buy release. As Amber’s revenge crosses into deliberate harm against innocents, the consequences spread beyond the person who first earned them. Colin is no longer the only one at risk. The supernatural reckoning refuses to behave like a fair ledger, forcing the film beyond the comfort of punishment that restores order. Surviving it offers no tidy absolution.
