THE RESERVIST

Written in the aftermath of his brother’s death, The Reservist became Christopher Shank’s attempt to turn grief into a story. The project grew out of his family’s experience following the death of U.S. Army Cpl. Jeremy Shank and received early coverage in Southeast Missouri.
